PowerServer RIS/PACS features Universal Worklist module, streaming of DICOM videos to any device

February 22, 2018 – The RamSoft team will showcase radiology solutions to help users cut costs and save time at the 2018 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference, March 5-9 in Las Vegas. Offerings will include RamSoft PowerServer RIS/PACS (radiology information system/picture archiving and communication system), a radiology system that enables healthcare practices to operate diagnostic imaging more efficiently. The RamSoft team will show how PowerServer RIS/PACS allows users to customize workflow to meet their needs; empowering customers to increase efficiency and grow their practices.

Some of features of this software that will be shown at HIMSS18 include:

  1. The Universal Worklist module enables users to build lists without programming or SQL knowledge; they can create default worklists by department, role and user and then aggregate facilities into one worklist. The Universal Worklist provides an unlimited number of users and modalities for hospitals, imaging centers and physician practices. And being able to connect to multiple PACS systems, plus all these features, allows users to cater to any workflow solution possible;
  2. DICOM MP4 video saves the radiologist's time by automatically converting MP4 to DICOM format when uploading RamSoft PowerServer. This feature works a lot like Netflix in that it streams DICOM videos to any device through RamSoft’s software;
  3. Remote Rendering streams rather than downloads images, dramatically reducing bandwidth utilization, and improving imaging delivery and display speed. This process significantly improves efficiency, reduces the response time from click to display and ensures that physicians are able to provide quality care for their patients regardless of location; and
  4. RapidResults, a zero-footprint, clinical image and report viewer, provides physicians easy access to studies via their smartphones, tablets, desktops and touchscreen devices, giving users the ability to read from anywhere to ensure the customer's facility runs as efficiently as possible.
