Portable digital radiography system features extra-large display, collapsible column and other enhancements for mobility and usability

Fujifilm Introduces FDR Go Plus Version Portable DR System at RSNA 2017

November 28, 2017 — Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. displayed the all-new FDR Go Plus version portable digital radiography (DR) system among its suite of mobile DR solutions at the 103rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Nov. 26-Dec. 1 in Chicago.

The new system features a sleek redesign continuing its signature smooth, quiet travel and compact tube head – and now with a collapsible column for maximum visibility while traveling. The portable DR system also features an extra-large display for optimal preview at the bedside and agile maneuverability. Other enhancements include optional user-adjustable drive handle, optional wireless barcode reader, an optional RFID card reader and extensive dedicated storage areas. Software features of the new portable DR system includes new workstation software with automated keypad display, quick start, and the option of the latest Virtual Grid simulation and Dynamic Visualization II image processing.

Unveiled at RSNA 2016, Fujifilm has begun installations of the FDR AQRO portable system across the United States. The FDR AQRO is a complete mini-digital X-ray system that combines the high sensitivity of Fujifilm's D-EVO II detectors and its refined image processing advancements to generate high-resolution images with low patient dose. The system combines various Fujifilm technologies, including higher resolution and reduced dose with Irradiation Side Sampling (ISS).
