Intelerad’s cloud-based imaging platform will allow Aris to focus on business growth and care delivery

Aris Radiology Selects Intelerad's Fully-Hosted Medical Imaging Platform

November 15, 2017 — Intelerad Medical Systems announced that Aris Radiology has selected Intelerad’s fully-hosted medical enterprise imaging platform. The solution will be delivered through Intelerad’s strategic partnership with Radius.

“As a rapidly-growing, nationwide, full-service radiology practice, we need a hosted solution that can support our clinical, physician, operational and patient needs,” said Shannon Shirk, chief information officer of Aris Radiology. “By deploying Intelerad’s cloud-based imaging platform, we will be equipped with a highly scalable and robust solution that allows our radiologists to leverage an efficient workflow and ensure the highest levels of patient care.”

Designed to streamline healthcare organizations’ costs, the latest version of Intelerad’s cloud imaging platform allows clients to offload information technology (IT) management, thereby reducing the need for hefty capital investment in IT infrastructure and personnel. Instead, Intelerad will design, procure and maintain hardware, storage infrastructure and security.

Based in Hudson, Ohio, Aris Radiology provides comprehensive radiology services to more than 300 hospitals and health systems nationwide. Known for its quality, speed and patient satisfaction, Aris supports their clients’ radiology needs by providing dedicated on-site radiologists, as well as an extensive network of board-certified, U.S.-based subspecialty radiologists.
