February 14, 2017 — Intelerad Medical Systems recently announced that Ransom Memorial Hospital (RMH) has selected Intelerad for its medical imaging platform.

“By deploying Intelerad’s enterprise imaging platform, we look forward to improving our overall quality and performance,” said Doug Rich, chief operating officer, Ransom Memorial Hospital. “Not only will the platform allow us to provide our radiologists and referring physicians with quicker and easier access to patient images and reports, but it will also allow us to expand the services we provide in areas such as breast imaging.”

Based in Ottawa, Kan., RMH is an acute care facility that provides a wide range of outpatient and surgical healthcare services to Franklin County and the surrounding areas. Ranked as one of the Top 20 rural community hospital in the United States, the hospital’s reputation for providing top-level care has been instrumental in its growth.

In addition to opening the RMH Cancer Care earlier this year, RMH are currently expanding the hospital’s emergency department to manage increased volume demands. The expansion includes an increase in emergency treatment rooms, which includes new critical treatment rooms and trauma rooms.
