October 12, 2016 — As of Oct. 1, Virtual Imaging Inc., a Canon company, has been awarded a digital radiography (DR) supplier agreement with Vizient Inc. Vizient is the largest member-owned healthcare company in the country, representing approximately $100 billion in annual healthcare purchasing, according to the company.
Becoming an approved Vizient supplier grants Virtual Imaging the opportunity to sell its DR equipment at negotiated pricing to Vizient’s members, including academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks and non-acute healthcare providers that access the Vizient contract portfolio.
