Company will also highlight ultrasound, DR and enterprise imaging products

Carestream, RSNA 2016 products, OnSight 3-D Extremity System, Touch Prime Ultrasound, DRX-Excel Plus, Clinical Collaboration Platform

September 27, 2016 — Carestream Health announced that it will be displaying a wide range of products at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Nov. 27-Dec. 2 in Chicago. Featured products will include:

OnSight 3-D Extremity System

The Carestream OnSight 3-D Extremity System uses cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) technology to capture weight-bearing and other types of extremity exams. It recently received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance and is available for order in the United States. This affordable compact system offers high-quality, lower-dose 3-D imaging studies for use by orthopedic and sports medicine practices, hospitals, imaging centers, urgent care facilities and other healthcare providers. The system can help in treating a host of orthopedic conditions that affect the biomechanical behavior of the joints such as arthritis, meniscus loss, instability and malalignment syndromes.

Ultrasound Systems

Carestream’s Touch Prime Ultrasound System and Touch Prime XE Ultrasound System offer a sealed, all-touch control panel that combines the speed and flexibility of a soft user interface with the tactile feedback of traditional keys. The Touch Prime XE employs a combination of advanced technologies that simultaneously provide enhanced spatial detail with increased frame rate, while optimizing image formation to help reduce noise and artifacts.

DRX-Excel Plus R/F System

Carestream’s DRX-Excel Plus system for radiography/fluoroscopy imaging can perform contrast exams using fluoroscopy that can be associated with a radiography image, in addition to specialized contrast procedures that record both fluoroscopy and radiography sequences and interventional procedures. The DRX-Excel Plus system is configured with a table and a tube in one system. An optional integrated flat panel detector produces high-resolution images for general radiography as well as fluoroscopic sequences.

Clinical Collaboration Platform

Carestream’s Clinical Collaboration Platform is an enterprise image data management solution that is also available in the cloud. It makes patient images and data available to clinicians and non-clinicians who need to view them. A modular, standards-based platform reduces costs and boosts efficiency for multi-site, multi-specialty implementations. A Unified Core allows integration into an existing ecosystem, streamlines administrative tasks and delivers a scalable deployment. New works-in-progress capabilities include an expanded portal that can serve medical and administrative needs, enhanced data mining and intelligent worklist management for radiologists.
