March 22, 2016 — Konica Minolta featured a theme of “Integrate, Optimize and Deliver” at the 2016 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual conference and exhibition, Feb. 29– March 4 in Las Vegas. Under this theme, the company focused on an end-to-end approach to help solve interoperability workflow and security challenges and deliver quality care.

Konica Minolta featured its healthcare portfolio of integrated solutions designed to improve existing processes by maximizing workflow efficiency, while meeting compliance standards. The company’s product and solution portfolio highlighted clinical document exchange and document management solutions, 3-D printing, enterprise content management solutions, its healthcare information technology (IT) platform, Exa and managed IT services.

Konica Minolta offers ECM (Enterprise Content Management) to help providers manage structured and unstructured data, tech optimization to manage costs, cloud services that facilitate the sharing of information, and primary imaging solutions designed for workflow efficiencies, immediacy of care and patient satisfaction.

The company solves interoperability challenges via their secure, cloud-based Kno2 Direct messaging platform connecting the community of care. Further, the company’s HIPAA Consulting practice offered through a close partnership with ecfirst delivers value-added services designed to maintain compliance with HIPAA/HITECH risk assessment requirements.  Finally, print, scan/capture and document/enterprise content management with tight electronic health record (EHR) integration was demonstrated using solutions developed by Konica Minolta, as well as through strategic partnerships.
