February 29, 2016 — At the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society's 2016 meeting (HIMSS16), Elekta will showcase Elekta Healthcare Analytics. The platform provides advanced dashboards and reports to accelerate data analysis and improve clinical, operational and financial decision making. HIMSS16 convenes Feb. 29-March 4 in Las Vegas.
Introduced at HIMSS15, Elekta Healthcare Analytics is now in use at many U.S. cancer centers. The solution is designed to enable physicians and administrators to harness the enormous volume of data generated by healthcare systems.
The platform includes tools that provide new ways to:
- Identify areas for cost reduction;
- Eliminate inefficiencies and identify potential quality improvements;
- Manage and measure resource utilization; and
- Monitor care patterns and operational trends across the network.
Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest, Ill., is among the clinics using Elekta Healthcare Analytics.
