Mobile C-arm expert decorated for Ziehm Vision RFD 3D in the "Best New Product — Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals" category

2015 bronze stevie winner

Ziehm Imaging has been awarded with the Bronze Stevie Award in the category "Best New Product or Service of the Year - Health & Pharmaceuticals" in the 12th Annual International Business Awards. The innovation leader in mobile C-arm imaging solutions, impressed the international jury with Ziehm Vision RFD 3-D; the latest addition to the Ziehm Imaging mobile C-arm portfolio which offers intraoperative 3-D information for enhanced patient care.

Winners were determined through three months of judging. The Stevie Award winners were presented their awards at a gala banquet at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Friday, October 23rd."We are extremely proud to be presented with a Stevie Award for the third year in a row. This prestigious prize validates our product concept and is a great recognition of our innovation leadership", said Klaus Hörndler, CEO of Ziehm Imaging.

"We have developed Ziehm Vision RFD 3-D by leveraging our 10 years' experience in 3-D imaging. The result is a completely new 3-D C-arm modality that allows for full intraoperative control at any time during the intervention."

The Future of 3-D Imaging
Ziehm Vision RFD 3-D has been designed based on the know-how and innovations originally developed for demanding hybrid applications. Ziehm Vision RFD 3-D combines 2-D and 3-D functionality to offer full intraoperative control in high-end applications in orthopedics, traumatology and spine surgery. SmartScan, a patented concept, allows for 180° image information of even the smallest anatomical structures while keeping the geometry of a conventional 2-D C-arm. With up to 7 cervical vertebrae in one scan volume, it offers the largest 3-D image volume of a mobile C-arm in the market. Ziehm Vision RFD 3-D is 30% smaller than traditional 3D C-arms and up to 60% more lightweight than alternative mobile imaging solutions. This allows the OR staff to easily position the C-arm in the OR and to manually transport it from one OR to another.
