October 5, 2015 — Healthcare workflow systems provider medQ Inc. released its Q/RIS 3000 Enterprise software Version 6.0. In addition to being Stage 2 Meaningful Use certified, the Q/RIS 3000 is now fully ICD-10 compliant, including an innovative crosswalk so that users can correlate ICD-9 to ICD-10 and SNOMED codes.
The new release provides a more powerful package for reading services/groups as well as imaging center and hospital based radiology operations. With these program changes, radiologists will be able to use their resources more fully to increase productivity and profitably while at the same time improving patient.

• Enhanced DICOM Structured Reporting tools to move data directly to the dictation macro
• A patient portal that goes beyond basic MU data. Now, patients can view and download final reports and view images.
• Referring physician’s electronic ordering enhanced including being able to upload documents needed for the procedure from their office locations.
• Q/RIS connect, an HL7 engine that allows users to direct connect via HL7 to their referring physician’s EHR/EMR to improve responsiveness and provide radiologists with key decision support information.
