InteleOne XE provides an alternative to replacing key systems while enhancing collaboration, performance and quality across multi-site health organizations
 

October 2, 2015 — Intelerad Medical Systems released its latest version of the InteleOne XE cross-enterprise workflow and universal image access solution. 

“InteleOne XE represents the culmination of eight years’ work developing and deploying cross-enterprise workflow solutions to a wide range of customers,” said Randall Oka, president, Intelerad. “This includes large hospitals, reading groups and teleradiology organizations across North America, Oceania and the United Kingdom.”
 
A rapidly-deployed solution, InteleOne XE provides an alternative to replacing critical and costly systems by seamlessly linking clinicians to data stored in existing HIS, RIS, EMR, PACS, and VNA systems. This enables the enterprise to: 
 
•    Gain the benefits of a cross-enterprise system without having to endure a PACS replacement or deploy a VNA.

•    Unify multiple sites while maximizing use of existing infrastructure and avoiding data migrations at the same time. 
 
•    Balance workloads across the enterprise and improve subspecialist utilization.  
 
•    Enhance collaborative care by connecting clinicians across multiple sites and health providers.
 
•    Increase efficiency, eliminate duplicate imaging and improve clinical outcomes by automatically retrieving all patient data located across the imaging ecosystem.
 
In addition, InteleOne XE provides flexibility by allowing them to easily add or remove systems from the imaging ecosystem. This is particularly valuable during a merger or acquisition as sites can be easily added or removed from the enterprise. 
 
For clinical staff, the solution’s ability to unify multiple sites greatly enhances performance and quality across the enterprise. This is accomplished by using Intelerad’s Assignment Engine to balance workloads across the enterprise and enhance subspecialist utilization; enhancing collaboration by connecting clinicians across multiple sites; avoiding duplicate scans by providing access to all patient data across the imaging ecosystem; and enabling radiologists to read their entire caseload from a single, standards-based user interface.
