Leading non-OEM medical imaging solutions provider closes its second acquisition of 2015, further strengthening its diagnostic imaging service and support and capabilities

BC Technical, a non-OEM provider of medical imaging solutions, has acquired Atlas Medical Technologies. This strategic acquisition allows BC Technical to add valuable diagnostic imaging service resources and knowledge.

"The acquisition of Atlas Medical Technologies brings a great addition to the BC Technical family," said Mark Alvarez, president and CEO of BC Technical. "Atlas provides a wealth of expertise and experience to our team, which helps support our ongoing vision of being the only true OEM alternative. Additionally, we couldn't be more excited that Ron Brewer and Skip Watkins have agreed to join the BC Technical team in leadership capacities."

With an exceptional combination of highly technical and quality minded engineers, Atlas Medical Technologies, based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and St. Petersburg, FL, has become a leading provider of CT and MR refurbished and pre-owned systems, service and turn-key projects.

"We are extremely excited to be joining the BC Technical team," Skip Watkins, CEO of Atlas, stated. "Over the past few years we have grown significantly and are convinced the future is bright as the need for quality, cost effective service support expands. As Atlas Medical Technologies of Florida, LLC joins the BC Technical team, we believe we will not only enhance the scope of support provided to our customers but we will also ensure that quality and cost effective service support is extended to our existing and future customers."

Ron Brewer, co-founder of Atlas, went on to explain, "Atlas Medical Technologies of Florida, LLC. was established to provide exceptional customer service and the highest quality maintenance on a broad range of medical CT Scanners. Our reputation as a solid service provider is reflected by the long-term relationships we have enjoyed with many of our clients over the last 13 years. Today we are passing the baton to a company that places the same value on excellence and long-term relationships. We are excited to be joining the BC Technical team and to continue to enhance the service that our customers have enjoyed. I am confident that the Atlas motto "Service that speaks for itself," will live on with this new relationship! It has been an honor to serve our customers for these many years and I look forward to continuing to serve with BC Technical."

The acquisition of Atlas Medical Technologies helps solidify BC Technicals position as the leading nationwide, independent service, systems and parts provider for CT, MR, NM, PET and PET/CT, and the only viable alternative to the OEM.
