June 10, 2015 - Anthelio Healthcare Solutions announced its patient engagement mobile application, Engage, has achieved Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC-HIT) 2014 Edition Modular Certification. The certification was granted via Drummond Group LLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) that has been empowered to test software for compliance with the requirements of the federal government's program. The stamp of approval designates that the software offers the functionality that enables eligible providers and hospitals to meet Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use (MU) requirements, qualifying these organizations to receive payments under the ongoing electronic health record (EHR) adoption program.

To earn the certification, Engage was tested to be in accordance with applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services. With the certification, Engage now has 2014 Edition EHR Module (Ambulatory) Certification for the following features: Secure Messaging, Automated Numerator Recording, Automated Measure Calculation and Quality Management System.

Engage is an on-the-go patient engagement application and a point-of-service interactive experience for patients, health plan members and caregivers. It provides a flexible framework for multiple, customizable points of access to applications and information while delivering high value to patients. Patients have quick and easy access to personal health records and other useful information on demand from anywhere, anytime. Patients can manage their own care by updating personal information, booking appointments, viewing lab results, requesting prescription refills, accessing educational material and securely communicating with their care team whenever they want. The application is customized to provide a personally branded experience, making it a valuable tool for providers to build brand awareness and loyalty.
