December 29, 2014 — Techno-Aide launched a new line of positioning sponges that solve the problem of lines from artifacts showing up on radiology images.

Stealth Core and Stealth Cote positioning sponges feature an antifungal, antibacterial, non-allergenic, flame retardant, self-deodorizing, stain resistant and easy-to-clean finish and are also available in custom designs.

For years radiology technologists have faced the difficult task of using positioning sponges to position their patients correctly just to see the sponge line and ghosting artifacts on the X-ray image. With the Stealth Core and Stealth Cote sponges, however, those technologists can now avoid unnecessary repeat imaging and experience greater clarity, accuracy and efficiency in their work.
