December 22, 2014 —  Toshiba is improving the workflow and operational efficiency of its T.RAD R/F and Kalare X-ray systems for healthcare providers who need X-ray systems that can deliver efficiency, accuracy and patient comfort.

X-ray exams can be cumbersome for clinicians due to the constant changing of detectors. By making detectors more versatile, exams can be completed faster. The T.RAD and Kalare now benefit from these capabilities:

·         Detector Sharing: Detectors can be shared between the systems, allowing multiple systems to use the same detectors for more efficient use of resources.

·         Four Wireless Detectors Linked to a Single System: The systems can now accommodate up to four wireless flat panel detectors to be registered at one time. This increases flexibility and reduces exam times, decreasing the need to change detectors after each exam.
