Enterprise Imaging features enhanced functionalities for collaboration, reporting and viewing

December 12, 2014 — Agfa HealthCare announced it has converged its ICIS and IMPAX Agility brands into a single platform called Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging. The new platform allows any physician, across the department, hospital or regional network to create, collaborate on, exchange, view and manage a comprehensive medical imaging record throughout the patient's care, with the ability to integrate with an electronic health record (EHR).

Enterprise Imaging can provide benefit to a variety of disciplines:

  • Surgeons can enhance their preparation process.
  • Physicians can streamline their collaborations, especially in emergency medical situations.
  • Ambulatory care teams can send imaging information to care teams in advance of a patient's arrival to streamline care delivery.

New features and options include enhanced functionalities for collaboration, reporting and viewing, and off-site hosted deployment. The task-based workflow is designed to achieve gains in clinical productivity.
