December 4, 2014 — Konica Minolta released the ImagePilot Aero for Orthopedic Clinics, a financially intelligent solution designed to meet the specific clinical and economic needs of orthopedic clinics. ImagePilot Aero for Orthopedic Clinics delivers the performance, exam flexibility and economic value required by today’s busy orthopedic clinics with the durable AeroDR wireless flat panel detector and advanced orthopedic toolsets.

ImagePilot Aero for Orthopedic Clinics meets the imaging needs of today while allowing for future growth with an all-in-one scalability and an array of workflow options.

With AeroSync automatic X-ray detection or a simple hand switch connection, it can integrate with most X-ray systems. AutoPilot single click automatic image processing coupled with easy-to-use advanced orthopedic toolsets further enhances clinical confidence. 

The ImagePilot Aero flat panel detector can hold up to 300 kg (660 lb.) distributed across the panel. The lightweight, 14 inch by 17 inch AeroDR wireless flat panel detector weighs 5.7 lbs. and has grip strips that make it simple to maneuver between diverse exams. Greater uptime is assured with drop tolerant construction and a long life rapid charge power cell.
