Toshiba becomes first diagnostic imaging company with Medlantis integration to provide one-stop e-learning destination

October 16, 2014 — To help its partners to continue offering the highest-quality care, Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. is providing comprehensive and customized education through its recently enhanced online learning center. The newly designed Toshiba Learning Center (ToshibaLearningCenter.com) brings Performance Learning, a one-stop education resource, to clinicians everywhere.

The Toshiba Learning Center, with help from Medlantis, helps clinicians keep pace with the market by providing the latest healthcare insights and innovations. These include assets such as 2,350 interactive case studies to hone diagnostic skills and the ability to interact with subject matter experts in every imaging specialty.

“As healthcare reform mandates that providers improve quality of care while lowering costs, Toshiba wants to give its customers a way to educate their staff faster and more cost-effectively,” said Sharon Yoon, senior director, training and education, Toshiba. “This is more than just equipment training. It enables Toshiba customers to do everything from find the latest research materials to talk with a subject expert directly. It’s a reflection of our view of education as a daily, long-term commitment.”
