August 21, 2014 — IDS announced that Desert Imaging (DI) of El Paso, Texas, has implemented IDS’ AbbaDox RAD cloud-based radiology IT platform to manage imaging workflow for its growing multisite imaging practice. DI’s two outpatient imaging centers and mobile mammography suites are benefitting from AbbaDox RAD’s seamlessly integrated RIS (radiology information system), PACS (picture archiving and communications system), Voice2Dox speech recognition clinical reporting, referring physician portal and CRM to expand their referral base.

The entire project was virtually plug-and-play with minimal disruption in our workflow,” Arizpe noted. DI was up and running with state-of-the-art functionality in weeks.
