August 11, 2014 — Konica Minolta Medical Imaging announced the introduction of the Nano P+ CR system, a simple and easy-to-use solution designed for the private practice that provides the flexibility to upgrade to digital radiography (DR). The Nano P+ offers enterprise level capabilities in a secure, Windows 7 based platform that enhances workflow and improves productivity.

Konica Minolta continues to provide customer focused primary imaging Solutions that offer clinical confidence and economic value with the introduction of the new Nano P+. The Nano P+ is a high performance, single bay computed radiography (CR) system that is ideal for busy private practices. It provides an intuitive user interface with the CS-7 software and includes several menu and flow improvements. A more robust radiology information system/picture archive and communication (RIS/PACS) interface includes modality work list functionality that enables the user to more easily customize exam tags or set-up multi-view tags, allowing for finer adjustments by the user.

With the Nano P+, practices can easily upgrade from CR to DR while maximizing value. The workstation can control more than one Konica Minolta digital imaging system, as well as the generator and collimator. With a compact design and flexible placement options, it is an ideal solution for private practices where space may be limited.
