July 30, 2014 — AllPro Imaging, a provider of computed radiography (CR) systems, is the recipient of the 2014 Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Leadership Award for ScanX Pro. This prestigious recognition is based on an extensive and independent Frost & Sullivan competitive analysis of the global veterinary CR industry.

The Frost & Sullivan Best Practices team of industry experts presents awards to companies demonstrating best practices in a variety of regional/global markets. The companies that are commended as Best Practices Award recipients are those with the diligence, perseverance and dedication required to develop a successful business plan and to excel in the increasingly competitive global marketplace. Frost & Sullivan uses five separate criterions in each of two broad categories of Visionary Innovation and Product Excellence to compare competitors within the veterinarian market.

“With the design and launch of the ScanX Pro, AllPro Imaging has been visionary in identifying and fulfilling an unmet need and creating new demand in the veterinary imaging market ahead of its peers,” cited Frost & Sullivan.

“We are honored to be receiving this award,” said David Chu, AllPro Imaging business unit manager at Air Techniques. “Frost & Sullivan cited the ScanX Pro for its innovative Dual Focus technology and use of two different foci to optimize image quality in high-resolution intra-oral and high-contrast/low-noise body images, along with the built-in mini-PC and high definition color touchscreen display — all features that are unique in today’s market.”

AllPro Imaging is a manufacturer of imaging systems for the medical, veterinary, security and industrial markets.
