U.S. Electronics Inc. MS35i2 Grayscale Diagnostic Monitor Mammography

May 28, 2014 — U.S. Electronics Inc. (USEI) released the Totoku MS35i2 monitor, a new 3 MP grayscale monitor with LED backlight for and ISD technology enabling 9 MsP for mammography use with compatible viewing software. The improved 3 MP measures 21.3 inches in diagonal, has native resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and is equipped with Independent Sub pixel Drive (ISD) technology to accept higher resolution output from modality devices to display 1536 x 6144 sub-pixels in ISD mode. The monitor displays 10-bit grayscale and supports both DisplayPort and DVI interfaces, exhibits a 1400:1 contrast ratio and maximum brightness of 1,700 nits. The monitor is factory calibrated at 410 and 500 nits to support all requirements in the mammography field, which may include tommosynthesis.  

Additional features include front luminance sensor for continuous luminance stability and simplified calibration, the ability to remotely test for DICOM GSDF conformance and calibrate, and ease of OSD display of the monitor’s current status regarding total operating hours, actual luminance measurement and current calibration settings.

All Totoku brand i2 Series monitors are provided with five-year standard warranty; extended hot swap warranty is available as are other services including custom color matching of monitors.
