iCAD to Showcase PowerLook Advanced Mammography Platform at RSNA 2013

November 21, 2013 — iCAD Inc. will showcase its family of computer-aided detection (CAD) software and advanced imaging solutions at the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting (RSNA 2013) Dec. 1-6 in Chicago. iCAD offers upgradeable CAD systems and workflow solutions for mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT).

 

PowerLook AMP provides radiologists with the ability to customize their CAD solution to meet the needs of their individual work environment. The technology expands on iCAD’s SecondLook Digital algorithm and is the CAD platform upon which future breast imaging CAD offerings from iCAD will be built. PowerLook AMP’s CAD metrics offer tissue and lesion characteristics to support the breast imager’s workflow. It is the first product of its kind to integrate the Volpara Volumetric Breast Density assessment. In 2013, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of PowerLook AMP with both the Philips MicroDose and FujiFilm Aspire HD Full-Field Digital Mammography systems.

 

SecondLook Premier has been designed and developed using a 100 percent digital image database, providing improved digital CAD performance. SecondLook Premier offers quality detection and includes clinical decision support tools such as CAD Metrics and CAD iNSIGHT to provide breast imagers with the most robust CAD solution available. SecondLook Premier is not available for sale in the United States.
