Toshiba Kalare Radiographic Fluoroscopy RSNA 2013

September 19, 2013 — To improve healthcare providers’ diagnostic confidence, Toshiba is showcasing enhancements to its Kalare radiographic/fluoroscopy (R/F) digital X-ray system. The system now features a 17- x 17-inch dynamic flat panel detector (works-in-progress) to provide clinicians with distortion-free, high-quality images. Replacing the current image intensifier with a flat panel detector extends coverage for imaging larger patients and helps reduce panning time for exams requiring fluoroscopy, such as a barium swallow.
