March 4, 2013– PACSgear announced ModLink, a software solution that transfers structured report measurements directly into PowerScribe 360 | Reporting from Nuance. Using digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) structured report (SR), HL7 or XML measurement data from modalities such as ultrasound, DEXA or computed tomography (CT), ModLink auto-populates the report with these values, saving valuable radiologist dictation time and reducing potential human error. ModLink supports multiple modalities, vendors and reports, as well as advanced data types such as CT dose/contrast and injector system measurements.
“To include measurement data in reports, radiologists look at one screen and dictate values into another.
