FDR D-EVO

March 12, 2012 — Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. announced the commercial availability of the FDR D-EVO portable upgrade system, the company’s first digital radiography (DR) upgrade option for analog mobile portables.

“Transitioning from analog to digital has never been easier. FDR D-EVO portable upgrade system customers will be able to experience the convenience and the diagnostic benefits of Fujifilm’s FDR D-EVO product line instantly,” explains Rob Fabrizio, senior marketing and product development manager for digital X-ray systems at Fujifilm. “The FDR D-EVO portable upgrade system upgrades AMX 4 or 4+ portables and is installed in a few short hours. Most importantly, it’s a very non-invasive upgrade allowing a smooth transition to improved workflow and extraordinary image quality for portable exams.”

This upgrade system provides all of the innovative benefits of Fujifilm’s expanding line of DR systems and includes features to simplify portable exams and speed workflow, by eliminating the need to process cassettes at another location. The upgrade system allows technologists to preview images at the bedside within seconds of taking the exam to speed patient care.

The system can be fitted with any of Fujifilm’s wireless FDR D-EVO models and includes Fujifilm’s latest FDX Console workstation. The workstation features a swivel and tilting display to simplify image previewing for the technologist during an exam.
