Kubtec recently released the next generation of its DICOM compliant DIGICOM 4.0 software for the XPERT 40 specimen radiography.
The new software completely automates the calibration process and minimizes the number of clicks needed from image acquisition to sending an image to PACS. It preserves the multicolor icons for image processing and measurement, at the fingertips of the user.
The software was on display on the XPERT 40 system in the booth and drew a lot of positive responses from the attendees. “This is so user-friendly” said one of the technologists who tried the software.
The XPERT 40 is a compact, self-contained, shielded cabinet X-ray system designed to meet imaging requirements for surgically excised and needle core biopsies. The XPERT provides high resolution, high contrast, X-ray images, with variable magnification, using radiographic film or DICOM compliant DIGI-VIEWTM digital radiography detectors. The XPERT is the only specimen radiography system in the world available with a 1.0 mA X-ray source and detector sizes up to 8” x 8”.
