February 4, 2008 - Motorola's Enterprise Mobility business will unveil the results of a recent study on mobility in the healthcare industry and display its complete end-to-end mobility with mobile computing, bar code scanning, RFID and wireless technology during the 2008 HIMSS meeting.
The study findings reveal the opportunities and challenges that mobility poses to the industry's IT decision makers and mobile workers. Motorola is using these findings to help improve its end-to-end mobility solution, the company said. As the healthcare industry is increasing its interest in wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, VoWi-Fi, real-time locating, RFID for asset tracking, mobile computers and scanners, Motorola says it has developed products focused the industry's increased need for mobility.
