February 12, 2008 – Anthro Corp. Technology Furniture today introduced the customizable Convoi mobile computer cart.

Convoi is a small sturdy cart with excellent mobility on 5-inch directional locking casters. With various widths and heights and adjustable shelf height within the unit, the company says it provides flexibility in creating a cart for smaller spaces as a lab, equipment or computer cart anywhere a heavy duty, small cart is needed.

The Convoi cart solution starts with a basic frame, and then it is built to suit specific needs. The customer can choose from a variety of shelf types, including a wood cap shelf, a tilt shelf, a metal shelf, an inboard shelf, or a base shelf. Other options include drawer systems, a handle, cable management, LCD support, power options, a cable shroud, and a keyboard support.

The external dimensions of this equipment cart range from 20-36 inches wide by 20-40 inches in height. The depth is 22 inches. Convoi is fully reconfigurable, the maker says. It also has cable management built into the legs of the cart to hide cords.

Constructed of aluminum and steel, Convoi has a total weight capacity of 500 pounds. It comes standard with a frame that has durable powder coat finish and consists of two legs, two cross tubes, two base tubes and four directional 5-inch locking casters.
