February 12, 2008 - Proximity Systems will introduce its new Automatic Adjustable-Height Swivel WorkStation (CWT-AAHS) for computers at this year’s HIMSS Conference Feb. 24-28 in Orlando, FL.

The new Proximity CWT-AAHS combines two of the company’s most requested features - adjustable height and swivel capability for ergonomic ease-of-use. Users can position the height of the CWT-AAHS’ work surface, at the push of a button, according to their needs, intended use and preference. The work surface and monitor can also be swiveled 180 degrees, either to the left or right. The WorkStation’s swivel capability provides users with an optimum in flexible positioning, including the option to position the computer screen so both patient and clinician can view information at the same time, the company said.

The Proximity CWT-AAHS is also available with an optional secured medicine cabinet.

The company said it consults with clients to develop workstations that address the specific needs of each hospital, including patient care, clinician workflow, IT management, ergonomics and design, and aesthetics.
