At RSNA 2010, Wide Corp. showed its new 30-inch, 10 mega-pixel (MP) liquid crystal display (LCD) with auto-calibration software. It was developed for mammography and viewing images from picture archiving and communications systems (PACS).

The Double Black Imaging (DBI) 10MP offers high image quality and an ultra-high brightness and contrast ratio. The X-CAL calibration software suite offers ease of DICOM 3.14 auto-calibration. Automatic QA/QC and MQSA reports as well as proactive system notifications are included at no charge. The durable, bonded protective panel includes an anti-reflective coating and comes standard with the DBI 10MP-PP. This added durability reduces maintenance costs and extends the useful life of the LCD.

Wide’s X Series features displays in a range of resolutions, from 2 MP to 10 MP; color and monochrome options; size ranges from 20 to 30 inches, and hands-free automatic calibration.
