UrgentWorks is a phone-, iPad- and browser-supported application for the entry, acknowledgment and management of critical test results. UrgentWorks parses critical findings out of radiologists’ reports, or they can be entered via workstation APIs or directly into the application. The application contacts patient locations and/or physicians via phone, iPad, etc. based on a set of rules. It continues until results have been acknowledged. Its unique FireDrill calls all numbers in the directory to verify them during scheduled drills.
