Siemens BP9-4 transducer
June 23, 2010 – A new disposable needle guide is now available for the Siemens BP9-4 bi-plane transducer.
The disposable, dual-path transrectal needle guide from CIVCO Medical Solutions was created specifically for prostate biopsies, making them quicker and easier for physicians to complete. The guide features live bi-plane biopsy functionality and clearly identified needle placement, and its disposable design reduces risk of cross-contamination and makes for easy clean-up between procedures.
In addition, the dual-path biopsy channels accept 16- to 18-gauge instruments in the straight needle path and 18-gauge instruments in the curved needle path.
