October 14, 2009 - At this year's RSNA, aycan Medical Systems, a provider of solutions and services for the medical imaging market, said it will demonstrate multi-vendor integration into FDA cleared 64-bit OsiriX workstation.

Increased from 32 to 64-bit speed, aycan’s workstation OsiriXPRO is FDA cleared image post-processing software solutions for navigation and visualization of multi-slice/multi-dimensional studies. Workstation OsiriXPRO also provides improved stability and interfaces from prior versions that can be easily integrated into vendor neutral PACS environments.

A new addition to aycan’s solution set, aycan store is a cost effective, high performance DICOM archive that can be tailored to fit into current and future workflows. And because it is vendor neutral, aycan store can seamlessly integrate into a multi-vendor environment. Built on more than ten years of extensive experience in long-term archiving of medical data, aycan store is available at a fraction of the cost of other well-know PACS solutions. aycan store, like all aycan solutions, comes with aycan’simmediate, live customer service and support.

aycan has added a smaller size printer to round out its industry leading aycan xray-print line of DICOM paper print solutions that are designed to replace film in a digital environment, reducing hard-copy medical-imaging costs by 90 percent and providing images at near diagnostic quality.

All of aycan’s solutions are designed to work in any vendor environment which aycan will demonstrate with its new products in the ”aycan Integration Center” at RSNA Booth 8903, Hall B. aycan will show a multi-vendor, multi-platform integration between Linux-based aycan store, Apple-based aycan workstation OsiriXPRO and Windows-based RIS by MedQ on workstations connected to an Apple Cinema Display and FDA cleared medical monitors by EIZO.
