Biopsy Site Marker Controls Bleeding

The versatility found throughout the EnCor breast biopsy product line extends into the MRI arena by offering grid and pillar/post compatibility in the same EnCor MRI product.

The StarchMark Biopsy Site Marker is the only breast biopsy marker to use polysaccharide (starch) pellets to help manage and control bleeding. Pellets are essentially resorbed in approximately 2 weeks, which includes a stainless steel wireform in the center pellet for long-term radiographic marking of the biopsy site.
