The MarkeTech Group (TMTG) conducted a poll of its imagePRO opt-in panel of over 600 U.S.-hospital based imaging administrative directors and managers. Manuel Andrade, TMTG’s research analyst, made the analysis.

Q: What is the likelihood that breast ultrasound will eventually replace mammography as the primary diagnostic tool for breast imaging.

A: Respondents do not anticipate that breast ultrasound will replace mammography as the primary diagnostic tool for breast imaging.
