August 4, 2009 – PACSGEAR, a provider of document and multimedia connectivity solutions for hospitals and healthcare facilities, released MediaWriter 3.0, with added enhancements to its DICOM CD/DVD burning solution.
This latest software version of MediaWriter will be featured in PACSGEAR’s booth 548 at the AHRA Annual Meeting and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada.
New MediaWriter 3.0 enhancements include the capability to burn multi-patient media, create customized media labels, and burn DICOM Structured Reports (SR). The release also includes GEARView, a new medical image and report viewer. Developed by PACSGEAR, GEARView gives patients and healthcare personnel a simple way to view medical images and related results. When burned to media – CDs, DVDs, or USB flash drives – GEARView creates a complete and portable medical record.
