June 9, 2009 – Intuitive Imaging Informatics (I3) will be showcasing many new user-centric features that impact I3’s ImageQube Web-based PACS, at the American Helathcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) convention, Aug. 9-13, Las Vegas, Nev.
The ImageQube—already offering the ability to run on any operating system including PC, Mac, Linux and Solaris—brings a slew of new user-centric developments. Performance improvements are significant in speed as well as memory management, allowing large studies to be read with no lag in response. The ImageQube has been successfully implemented in several large facilities using Citrix, providing secure, common desktop access. Thin-client 3D volume rendering gives referring physicians immediate access to three-dimensional views of the anatomy prior to surgical intervention. Other upgrades include streamlined application installation, the ability to create a custom CD and emergency access to exams. The ImageQube now incorporates graphical images of exam and series information, putting related information at user’s fingertips, and improving diagnostic navigation. One-click retrieval from long-term archive is easily accessible from anywhere.
