June 1, 2009 – NightHawk Pros, a physician-owned and operated teleradiology company based in Royersford, Penn., introduced a new online radiology information system (RIS).
The new RIS becomes part of the company’s core offerings and will be available as a value-added tool, free to all clients. The new Web-based system joins a variety of existing information exchange options to provide hospitals secure, anytime, anywhere access to patient information reports. Healthcare providers now have the option to use the RIS as their primary method of information exchange, in lieu of traditional phone or fax, or as a supplementary tool for increased efficiency.
NightHawk Pros’ new RIS is designed for facilities with a high volume of nighttime traffic. NightHawk Pros implemented the RIS with ThinAir Data Corporation out of Los Angeles so clients of all sizes can have a means to fast, easy nighttime radiology expertise. The new system is already in use at multiple locations and is used alongside direct communication with NightHawk Pros’ radiologists.
