March 4, 2009 – Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc.’s service organization received more top rankings than any other imaging vendor in IMV’s 2008 ServiceTrak Imaging on CT system service.

Toshiba CT received the top ranking in 21 out of 34 service attributes, including overall OEM service performance, overall satisfaction with a manufacturer, reliability of hardware and overall value.

Users of Toshiba’s CT systems rated categories on a scale of 1.0 to 6.0, giving service for Toshiba’s CT systems the industry’s highest scores, including 24 rankings that received better than a 5.0 (“very good”).
In the area of Service Performance, Toshiba received the highest score in four out of five categories, including overall service performance, service follow-up, service performance relative to amount charged, and degree to which help desk commitments are met. In Manufacturer Performance, Toshiba received the highest score in five out of six categories, including overall satisfaction with manufacturer, effectiveness at resolving problems, probability to purchase from manufacturer again, availability of parts and ability to upgrade technology.
