January 27, 2009 - Siemens Healthcare will supply diagnostics equipment, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), digital radiography (DR) and mammography systems, to Al Razi Healthcare in Lahore, Pakistan.

The recently signed contract will provide Al Razi Healthcare with diagnostic imaging services, many of which are not currently available anywhere in Pakistan.

The deal includes a broad range of Siemens diagnostic equipment including the MAGNETOM Avanto MRI, the ultimate system for hospitals with the most comprehensive and advanced application range available, the SOMATOM Definition, a dual source CT with complete range of dual energy applications, and the AXIOM Multi M with mobile flat detector, the first radiography system in Pakistan to cover the full spectrum of general purpose radiographic applications from skeletal to thorax, pediatric to orthopedic exposures.

The project also includes mammography system, multiple digital color doppler devices and DR and fluoroscopy unit AXIOM Iconos R200.
