January 8, 2009 - AMICAS Inc. said it has a new partnership with one of the nation's largest radiology groups, Diversified Radiology of Colorado, P.C., of Denver, CO.

This partnership will reportedly enable Diversified Radiology to streamline their billing operations and improve operational decisions with on-demand business intelligence tools.

With 60 radiologists, Diversified Radiology is one of the nation's largest radiology practices and provides interpretive services to 12 statewide hospitals, 10 imaging centers - four of which they own - and additional support to several free-standing medical office sites in Denver. Diversified Radiology has been an AMICAS customer for nearly 30 years.

Under the terms of the agreement, Diversified Radiology will utilize AMICAS' solutions for streamlining billing operations and enabling business intelligence. Included in the partnership deal are AMICAS Financials, AMICAS Dashboards and claims processing capabilities.

AMICAS Financials, a Windows-based solution, provides CashFinder Worklists to automate the identification and management of denials and follow-up workflows. AMICAS Dashboards, a Web-based business intelligence platform, provides access to customized, near real time data for key performance metrics and indicators, including both clinical and operational factors.
