January 5, 2009 - Pegasus Imaging Corp. will acquire AccuSoft Corporation's imaging business in an eight-figure deal, which includes the ImageGear and NetVue product lines.

During the next 90 days, transition activities will focus primarily on supporting AccuSoft customers. They will receive a high level of service from Pegasus' best-in-class technical support organization and will be asked to provide feedback regarding their product needs and goals. Both AccuSoft and Pegasus customers will enjoy access to a broader range of imaging SDK products, technologies, and resources.

With the acquisition, Pegasus Imaging enhances its position as one of the largest providers of digital imaging software development kits (SDKs).

AccuSoft imaging SDKs feature photo processing, medical imaging, DICOM and document imaging technologies. They also provide thin-client browser image viewing on platforms including Silverlight, as well as 100 percent managed-code .NET, ActiveX, Windows Mobile, and 32-bit and 64-bit Windows, Linux, Unix (Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX), and Mac OSX toolkits.

Pegasus Imaging products include document imaging, forms processing, photo imaging, and medical imaging technologies. Products are delivered on platforms including .NET with native code assembly-optimizations, ActiveX, Windows Workflow Foundation, 32-bit and 64-bit Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris, and IBM AIX.
