December 5, 2008 - ContextVision introduced at RSNA GOPView iRVPlus, a new image enhancement and dose reduction software package designed for interventional radiology.

GOPView iRVPlus relies on a continuous adaptive filtration method to analyze every pixel in an image, giving every structure in the image the same level of analysis. It enables image enhancement reportedly at a level never before achieved in interventional radiology, enabling a dose reduction of more than one third, minimizing both patient and medical staff exposure during a procedure, without any compromise in image quality or diagnostic value.

As ContextVision’s products can be embedded into OEM’s imaging systems, global medical imaging companies rely on ContextVision technology for medical image processing. GOPView iRVPlus is detector, generator and user interface independent, and integrates into modern software-based systems. When used with an optimized GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) board, it is said to be capable of 1kx1kx2 bytes, real-time performance and can process images up to 1024 x 1024 pixels in real time.
