November 13, 2008 - Quantum Medical Imaging announced its enhanced QV-9000 Digital Universal Radiographic System with the “ONE-Button” - Automated Positioning Feature and fully motorized and synchronized positioning motions.
Once the exam is selected from either the modality worklist or directly from the DR menu, the QV-9000 automatically moves itself into the position required to complete the examination. This advanced feature reportedly provides for faster imaging and precise system positioning. The system can be easily positioned from either the operators control monitor or from Quantum’s unique “TechVision”.
The unit features a highly versatile C-Arm design, which Quantum says maintains constant alignment between the X-ray tube and the image receptor, regardless of C-Arm tilt position or image receptor angle. The five-axis movement of the QV-9000 quickly positions the system for the next view, allowing the technologist to concentrate more on the patient care than the positioning of the system.
The QV-9000 is a direct digital imaging system designed for use in imaging centers, orthopedic facilities and hospital overflow rooms, that desire to maximize patient comfort and who require a very high patient throughput.
