GE Healthcare offers a full range of radiography systems to match all clinical applications and situations from stationary and dedicated chest units to mobile and digital radiography using GE's digital detector.

Among the products the company is featuring at RSNA 2007, these include: the Definium 8000, which is available in a broad range of configurations for ultimate flexibility, from a single wall stand to a full comprehensive radiographic room. The foundation of the Definium’s imaging excellence is GE’s flat panel digital detector, which reportedly delivers one of the industry's highest detective quantum efficiency (DQE) of 77 percent. The GE digital flat-panel detector was designed to provide outstanding image quality and efficiency in order to address all X-ray imaging requirements. It was also intended to improve current procedures and drive innovative advanced applications.

Introduced at RSNA 2006, the Definium 5000 is a floor-mounted, digital radiographic system providing GE state of the art image quality, image processing and user interface, making the system easy to use and reliable while providing high quality digital radiographic images. The Definium 5000 incorporates GE’s digital flat panel detector technology, measuring 41 x 41 cm. in size, along with a U-arm that can fit into smaller rooms without the need of ceiling support structures for X-Ray tube suspensions.

The Definium AMX 700, the company’s top-of-the-line digital X-ray system, provides an integrated digital solution to meet the demanding needs of imaging professionals: large active image area for variety of patients, as well as a user interface designed for the mobile workflow that offers commonality with other GE digital products to ensure smooth initialization.
