March 12, 2008 - Carestream Health Inc. signed contracts for its digital mammography solutions with mammography providers worldwide, a set of solutions that includes special functionality for its RIS/PACS platforms, multimodality breast imaging workstations, CR-based mammography systems, CAD for CR and film-based mammography and laser imagers, said the company.
The following healthcare providers are among those that have placed new orders:
-The Avon Comprehensive Breast Care Center at San Francisco General Hospital (San Francisco, CA) ordered three KODAK CARESTREAM Mammography Workstations and three review workstations.
-Cancer Society (Helsinki, Finland) purchased a KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR CLASSIC System and a KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 850 System with the KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR Mammography Feature. It also purchased one mammography workstation.
-Clinique Saint-Luc (Bouge, Belgium) ordered four CR 850 systems with the CR Mammography Feature, four mammography workstations and a KODAK DRYVIEW 8900 Laser Imager.
-Hovedstaden Hospital (Copenhagen and Herlev, Denmark) ordered KODAK CARESTREAM RIS with the mammography screening module.
