February 25, 2008 - FroozHIE from NoMoreClipboard.com reportedly reconciles clinical patient data from disparate sources including PHRs, EMRs, HIEs and other healthcare IT platforms.

The application is said to be user-friendly and interoperable, supporting data between platforms utilizing different data standards including CCR, CCD, CDA and HL7.

According to the company, FroozHIE is a secure health information exchange application that displays similar data from different sources side-by-side, enabling clinicians and patients to compare and reconcile medical records.

In addition, FroozHIE can help alleviate physician fears about incorporating patient-supplied information into practice workflow. “I was concerned that PHR information sent by my patients would either overwrite the data in my EMR system or create duplicate data, such as listing a medication twice,” said Michael Mirro, M.D., cardiologist and chair of the IT Committee for the American College of Cardiology. “With the FroozHIE tool, I see the information I have next to similar information from the patient, and I can click on one button to selectively incorporate data I don’t have into my EMR.”

The FroozHIE application is available to the healthcare IT community as a free, secured Web-based tool in order to encourage full interoperability, and is on display at HIMSS where attendees can see how PHR data from NoMoreClipboard.com is shared with systems from other health care IT vendors using the FroozHIE application.

NoMoreClipboard.com is an online, patient-controlled personal health record management system designed to consolidate medical information in one convenient and secure location for easy retrieval and updates.
