August 29, 2007 - NeuroLogica Corp. announced that the Indianapolis Colts, the 2006 NFL World Champions in partnership with Clarian Health Partners Inc., plan to use the CereTom portable CT scanner for on-site rapid assessment and diagnosis of head injuries during the 2007 NFL season in the RCA Dome.

The CereTom reportedly produces instant, high-quality images of the head and neck to diagnose various brain injuries and brain bleeds, as well as injuries occurring in the extremities including elbows, knees and ankles.

The portability and small size of the CereTom allows a player to be scanned and diagnosed within minutes of leaving the field. Images will be instantly available for a neurosurgeon to review, providing for prompt diagnosis and treatment-planning if required.

The CereTom will also be available to visiting teams, should their players sustain an injury at the RCA Dome.

The CereTom has a history with Indianapolis sports. It was present at this year's Indianapolis 500, where drivers were scanned in the middle of the infield.
