May 22, 2007 - PACSGear will introduce at SIIM its newest product, PACSGear MediaWriter, an affordable, distributed CD/DVD burning solution designed for easy configuration, maintentance and deployment wherever images are created in image intensive departments such as radiology, cardiology, gastroenterology, dermatology and pathology.
MediaWriter includes a breadbox-sized CD/DVD burner that quickly labels as it spins. MediaWriter writes DICOM files to CDs/DVDs, USB memory sticks or flash memory with one click, and provides a redundant solution for existing, centralized CD burners.
